Curriculum

RCM

For Beginner and Intermediate Violinists

Music Theory Lessons follow the RCM grading scheme. The curriculum covers basic, intermediate, and advanced theory, harmony, and analysis.

Violin Private Lessons follow the RCM grading scheme. Beginner violinists are recommended to follow the Suzuki method and then transition into RCM.

The RCM method is also used when preparing a student for RCM Examinations or other auditions.

The RCM method is readily available for students in the violin grades 1-8.

Suzuki

For Beginner Violinists

Beginner Private Lessons are taught following the Suzuki method. It is recommended that students start-out using the Suzuki method and then transition into RCM.

The Suzuki method is readily available for students in the violin grades 1-6.

For students whose practical skills exceed the Suzuki and RCM method will then move onto a more personalized repertoire and lesson plan.
