All in-person lessons are provided at my studio near Museum station. If you are interested in having in-home lessons, there will be a minimum surcharge of $10 per session.
What’s included in your fee?
Weekly lessons
It is recommended that students have one lesson per week focusing on music theory. Music theory is an essential part of any music. It is highly recommended that all students who are taking practical violin lessons also take music theory lessons.
Examination prep
I am able to provide intensive music theory lessons for students who are interested in preparing for theory exams at the RCM or for university.

For beginner, intermediate, and advanced music theorists
All music theory instruction follows the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum.
The RCM curriculum is designed to compliment practical skills for all musicians. RCM theory examinations begin at the level 5 practical levels. However, it is very difficult to suddenly pick up on music theory at the level 5 practical level. Therefore, it is encouraged for all students to learn music theory.
