Jin-Young (Sophia) Won — Violinist & Pedagogue
Specializing in RCM Examinations, Competitions, and Audition Preparation. Jin-Young’s students have consistently won 1st place prizes at the Kiwanis Music Festival, received Honours With Distinction grades for RCM Examinations, was accepted to prestigious arts academies, won scholarships, and won prizes at provincial level competitions.

Jin-Young is currently the second violinist of the Melos String Quartet. She was the associate concertmaster of the University of Toronto Symphony Orchestra for the 2020/21 season. In the past Jin-Young was the associate concertmaster of the London Youth Symphony, the concertmaster of the London Central Orchestra, and was also the concertmaster for the London Grand Theatre Production of the musical Evita.
